Only a professional can be an insurance broker

The profession of an insurance broker is regulated at the EU level. In Finland, the activities of brokers are supervised by the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority. The profession of an insurance broker has been deemed to be so demanding that a degree is required for this position. Only a party entered in the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority’s register of insurance intermediaries can use the title of an insurance broker or insurance intermediary.
