At Söderberg & Partners we improve the insurance market by focusing on our clients. Thanks to our analysis department we provide substantiated advice and recommend products that we consider are the most beneficial products on the market. Our ambition is to have as satisfied clients as possible.
Söderberg & Partners has, since its foundation, expanded rapidly and we are today one of the leading financial advisors in the Nordic countries and a concern with over 2000 employees, and offices all around the Nordic countries. Our size and our global network makes it possible to provide the market's best insurances, adjusted to your needs.
Söderberg & Partners is a flexible organization which focuses on helping its clients to reach their goals. We have, with some of the market's most experienced insurance brokers, shaped our supply of services according to your wishes.
We demand that our advisory services are of high standards. We are therefore regulated by both inhouse policies and legislative demands.
As an insurance broker company our business is regulated by various Finnish laws such as the Finnish Insurance Mediation Act (234/2018) and the Act on Detecting and Preventing Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing (444/2017). We also follow the rules and guidelines given by the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority.
We provide advice concerning insurance from one or more insurance companies. We carry out a thorough analysis of several insurance contracts and insurance products in order to ensure that you as a client obtain optimal insurance solutions that meet your needs and wishes.
We are only allowed to receive renumeration from the client, which means that we are not bound by contract to distribute insurances from only a few insurers. After that the broker has analyzed and determined your insurance needs, the broker will give you a personal recommendation and explain why the insurances in question will best fulfill the insurance need.
Our starting point is that we give personal recommendations that are based on an impartial analysis of insurances, unless otherwise is agreed upon. All our advisors have received relevant training and possess the knowledge and experience that is required by the statutes and ordinances that regulate our business operations.
We are continuously following the insurance market’s products and we also do analysis on the financial strength of insurers. We are also ourselves working with developing good insurance products for our clients.
Our insurance broking company and our brokers are registered, in accordance with the instructions given by the Financial Supervisory Authority, in the register of insurance intermediaries with the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority. To check this registration, contact the Financial Supervisory Authority.

We are subject to supervision by the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority, which is the administrative authority that develops statutes and ordinances for the financial markets. It is also responsible for performing supervision and licensing.
On request, the Financial Supervisory Authority shall inform clients and others whether an insurance broker is entitled to mediate insurance, and whether this right is restricted to a particular type of insurance. To verify a license, contact the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority.
As insurance brokers, we have a liability insurance that is approved by the Financial Supervisory Authority and that meets the requirements that are imposed by law. The insurance covers liability for damages that we may incur in connection with our insurance mediation business.
Our remuneration for insurance mediation consists of an agreed fee that is stated in the broker agreement. The broker is only allowed to collect the fee directly from you, the client.
The size of the remuneration varies depending on which insurance product you have chosen. Information about the cost of the insurance mediation is presented before or during the advisory session.
Should you, for any reason, be dissatisfied with a service delivered by us, we ask you to as soon as possible contact the person you have been in contact with regarding the case to which the complaint refers.
If you remain dissatisfied after the conversation you can send a written complaint to us. When you complain in writing, you should attach copies of relevant documents and preferably name the staff members you have been in contact with regarding the case. You should also specify when these contacts have taken place. Our ambition is to handle any complaint promptly, effectively, and with care and consideration.
